Welcome to the Arizona State
Goat Breeders Association website!
ABOUT
ASGBA
The Arizona State Dairy
Goat Association was first established in 1950. We
changed our name to Arizona State Goat Breeders Association
in 2009. We
have members from all of the state of Arizona, stretching
into California and New Mexico. Our main focus was
originally to promote the dairy goat and it's by-products.
In this day and age, diversity seems to be the key to
success. We have many members, past and present, who
raise and support all types of goat breeds so we decided to
officially change our name and by-laws to include all breeds; i.e. Boers, Pygmies,
Angoras.
We conduct monthly
meetings (by-laws), hold fund raisers, perform community service and
sponsor one annual show.
MISSION STATEMENT
The Arizona State Goat
Breeders Association is a family-oriented, non-profit
organization working to promote all breeds of goats in all
aspects including; exhibition, publicity, breeding, and
improvement of milk production while maintaining constant
breed standards.
